Step-by-Step Guide to Using Multi-Recipient Signature Support
To take full advantage of this new feature, follow the steps outlined below:
- Assign Signatures:
- Identify the recipients within the document who are required to sign.
- Assign signature elements to each recipient, categorizing them as either a signer or a CC recipient.
Primary Recipient:
- The first recipient added is designated as the Primary recipient. Custom fields will be populated based on this designation.
- An invoice is automatically generated for the primary client once the document is accepted or signed by all parties.
Signature Links:
- Each recipient, including the business user sending the proposal, receives a unique link for their designated signature elements.
- Recipients can then securely sign their respective portions of the document using these links.
Tracking and Certificate:
- Upon completion of the signing process by all participants, a signed PDF copy of the document is generated.
- A signature certificate is also created, capturing essential information such as IP address, location, and signing date/time for all recipients.
